Conservation District

If you've been looking for a way to be more involved in decisions affecting Missoula, the City Council has one (non-paying) position available on the Missoula County Soil Conservation District Board that may interest you. Applicants must be interested and knowledgeable about soil and water conservation. The committee's mission is to provide private landowners in Missoula County with tools, staff, and resources to implement conservation practices which protect and promote the wise use of our natural resources particularly soils and water. The term for this position begins January 1, 2020 and ends on December 31, 2022.

Applications may be picked up at the City Clerk office at 435 Ryman.

Applications must be received in the City Clerk Office by Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 5 pm.
