Commercial Building Permits (20YY-MSS-COM-#####) are used for a variety of commercial building projects. Based on the type of permit you are applying for, requirements and details on the permitting process are provided below. Commercial building applications are required to be submitted through our portal and meet electronic plan review requirements

Construction of NEW 1-2 unit dwellings are required to apply for a Residential Building Permit and comply with the International Residential Code (IRC). Residential Buildings with 3 or more dwelling units are required to apply for a Commercial Building Permit and comply with the International Building Code (IBC).
