Unplug And Play Missoula

Unplug and Play 2017!

April 29 – May 6

Let's Move! Missoula is encouraging kids and challenging Missoula families to "Unplug & Play" for one week!  This is a challenge to families to limit recreational screens (tv, game boxes, smart phones, tablets, etc.)  We hope kids get outside, spend more time at unstructured play, and re-connect with friends, neighbors and family.  Check out this 7 days of play Family Guide. It is jam packed with free and low-cost activities happening all week long around town!

Unplug & Play Big Event! Sunday, April 30, 1-4pm, McCormick Park

Families are invited to the FREE Let's Move! Missoula Unplug and Play! kickoff event on Sunday, April 30, from 1-4 pm at McCormick Park. Missoula Parks and Recreation is hosting a FREE day of over 20 outside fun activities for kids.  Shoot some hoops with Lady Griz BB stars and Monte! Ollie and Smokey the Bear will challenge you to a jump rope jump off. Try your hand at the ropes challenge course, fencing, tennis and even face painting and pickleball!  So many things to do that are free and fun!
Unplug and Play week is packed with fun, screen-free activities. See the 7 Days of Play calendar

Unplug and Play! Screen Free Week is made possible by these generous sponsors: United Way of Missoula County, PacificSource Health Plans, Community Medical Center, Missoula Fresh Market, Tobacco Free Missoula, and Bob Wards.
