Mayoral Candidate Forum
Join us tomorrow, October 19th, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the Missoula City Council Chambers, 140 W. Pine, for the Mayoral Candidate Forum. It's your golden opportunity to connect with the mayoral candidates and gain a deeper understanding of their vision for our beloved city. If you can't be there in person, don't worry—Missoula Community Access Television (MCAT) will be live-streaming the event on their Facebook page, ensuring that the conversation reaches a wide audience. Don't miss out on this chance to stay informed and actively engage in shaping the future of our community!
While we welcome all members of the public to our forums, we kindly request that attendees maintain a respectful and noise-free atmosphere during the event, refraining from applause or cheering. Please note that campaign buttons, posters, or any form of political signage, including clothing, are not permitted.
Rest assured, the Candidate Forum strictly adheres to the non-partisan, impartial, and unbiased format established by the League of Women Voters. Seasoned League members will serve as moderators and timekeepers, and questions submitted by the public will be reviewed by the League to ensure they align with the event's goals and are free from duplication.
This is your final opportunity to submit questions for the Mayoral candidate forum. If you have questions for the candidates, please send them to contact@missoula-neighborhoods.org by noon tomorrow (Thursday, October 19th). We encourage questions that relate to city-wide issues. The candidates will address as many questions as time permits, and each candidate will provide prepared opening and closing statements. Your active participation is invaluable in shaping the discourse and gaining insights into the potential future leaders of our city.
