Wards 4 & 6 Candidate Forum Tomorrow!
Join us tomorrow at the Wards 4 & 6 Candidate Forum, offering an invaluable chance for Missoula residents to interact with candidates as they tackle critical community issues. The Candidate Forum strictly adheres to the non-partisan, impartial, and unbiased format set by the League of Women Voters. Proficient League members will take on the roles of moderators and timekeepers, ensuring a fair and equitable discussion. Publicly submitted questions will be carefully reviewed by the League to eliminate duplication and ensure their appropriateness.
All forums will be conducted in person from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the Missoula City Council Chambers, situated at 140 W. Pine. For those unable to attend in person, these events will be simultaneously broadcast on the Missoula Community Access Television's Facebook page, ensuring widespread accessibility. While these forums are open to the public, we kindly request that attendees maintain a respectful and tranquil atmosphere, refraining from applause or cheering. We also ask that you refrain from displaying campaign buttons, posters, or any other political signage, including on clothing.
This is your final opportunity to submit questions for the Wards 4 & 6 candidate forum. If you have any questions for the candidates, please send them to contact@missoula-neighborhoods.org by noon tomorrow (Tuesday, October 24). We encourage questions that pertain to city-wide or ward-specific issues. The candidates will address as many questions as time allows, and each candidate will provide prepared opening and closing statements. Your active participation is integral to shaping the future of our community.
