What's New This Year?
For this year's Application Workshop, we have made a significant change that will streamline the application process and make it more accessible for you. Say goodbye to pre-applications! This year, you can complete and submit your application directly through Submittable, making the process more efficient and convenient for you. Applications will be due January 31st.
What to Expect from the Workshop:
During the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to gain insights into our funding opportunities and learn about the application process. We’ll guide you through the following key topics:
- Funding Opportunities: Find out what types of projects are eligible for funding and the regulations to look out for.
- Application Process: We will walk you through the step-by-step process of getting started in Submittable to complete and submit your application. This introduction will help you become familiar with the platform and ensure a smooth application experience.
- Q&A Session: At the end of the workshop, there will be a dedicated time for questions and answers. This is your chance to get clarification on any concerns you may have about the application process, eligibility, or any other related topic.

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), and Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF) investments are available for award.? Applicants can apply for individual or multiple funding sources during this competitive application round.? ?
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds are made available to the City of Missoula on an annual basis from the Federal Government through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF) was created in July of 2020 as Missoula’s local source of funding to meet the city’s urgent housing needs. The City’s CDBG, HOME, and AHTF Programs are administered by the Community Development division (CD) of the Community Planning, Development, and Innovation department.
