City Invites Northside and Westside Neighbors to Open House for Scott Street Transportation Project: Phillips to Otis
The City of Missoula’s Public Works & Mobility Department invites Northside and Westside neighbors to an open house on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Burns Street Community Center at 1500 Burns Street.
City engineering and transportation staff will share information about the first phase the Scott Street Transportation Project: Phillips to Otis, which includes installation of a roundabout at the intersection of Scott and Phillips streets as well as non-motorized facility enhancements from Phillips Street over the bridge to the north and some minor striping changes. Construction is planned for summer 2025, while school is out for the summer break.
The open house will include displays and drawings for proposed future transportation improvements along the Scott Street corridor. The City encourages public comment on these plans. City engineering and transportation staff will be available to answer questions.
A brief presentation will be made around 6:00 p.m. to provide background and other information about the project.
More detailed information on planned and proposed area transportation improvements are available on the City’s Engage Missoula website at www.engagemissoula.com/northside-housing-and-transportation-improvements.
Please feel free to share this information with your neighbors, or bring a few of them with you to the open house. See you there!
