Chinese Cemetery Interpretive Panel Dedication Ceremony
The filmmakers behind the documentary The Bodies Beneath Us, the City of Missoula Historic Preservation Office, and Missoula Parks and Recreation invite the community to a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil a new interpretive panel in Sgt. Don Gregory Park.
The panel commemorates a long-overlooked cemetery in the Lower Rattlesnake, established in the late 1800s, where many members of Missoula's early Chinese community were buried. Until now, the site has remained unmarked.
