Broadway-Toole-California Transportation Project Open House July 9
City Seeks Public Input on Proposed Intersection Improvement Plans
The City of Missoula’s Public Works & Mobility Department invites the public to an open house on Wednesday, July 9, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Burns Street Community Center, 1500 Burns Street.
Engineering staff will share and discuss proposed plans for improvements at the intersection of Broadway, Toole, and California streets. Project goals are to enhance access and connectivity for the surrounding neighborhoods and businesses for all transportation modes as well as to improve safety for all intersection users. Results of a recent intersection evaluation, which was conducted to determine potential design concepts that would address these goals, will also be available at the open house.
City engineering staff want to hear from the public about their concerns related to the current intersection configuration. They will also discuss alternate intersection designs and provide a general timeline for project construction.
An Engage Missoula web page for the project where people can ask questions and comment on the project is available at www.engagemissoula.com/broadway-toole-california-intersection-improvements. Project details will be added to this web page as they become available.
