DRAFT ZONING FRAMEWORK NOW AVAILABLE!

Following the adoption of the Our Missoula 2045 Land Use Plan, the City of Missoula is updating its zoning map and development codes to better reflect this new community vision. This is the final step in the Our Missoula process.

The Zoning Framework is the first set of draft information available for public review as part of the Code Reform process. It includes the draft zoning map and the draft standards for the proposed zoning districts.

Start here: Scroll through the Zoning Framework Story Map to learn about the types of places described in the Our Missoula 2045 Land Use Plan and how the proposed zoning districts relate to them.

There are several ways to share your input:

  • Review and comment on the Interactive Proposed Zoning Map and see the zoning for the entire city, your neighborhood, or your individual property.
  • Review and comment on the draft zoning district standards to learn about the type of development that would be allowed in each district.

Attend the Zoning Open House from 4-7 p.m. on October 9th at the Missoula Fairgrounds to learn more about the Zoning Framework and share your thoughts and questions with City staff.

Code Reform Zoning Open House

Please join the City of Missoula for a Zoning Open House where the Our Missoula Team will share the new proposed zoning map and development regulations for the proposed zoning districts. Come learn about what these zoning updates may look like in your neighborhood and share your thoughts. Food and kids' activities will be provided. We want you to be a part of this process!

WHEN: Thursday, October 9th. Drop in anytime between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. There will be a brief presentation at 5:30 p.m.
