Code Reform Public Hearings Begin TONIGHT!

The Our Missoula project has entered the final step in the process where the Missoula Consolidated Planning Board and the Missoula City Council will consider adoption of a new Unified Development Code (UDC) and Zoning Map. See below for the full public hearing schedule, links to the adoption materials, and instructions for providing public comment. 

📅 Public Hearing Schedule:  

Missoula Consolidated Planning Board/Planning Commission: 

• Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.: Public Hearing. Sophie Moiese Room of the Missoula County Courthouse, 200 W. Broadway or online
• Thursday, November 20th and Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.: Tentative Additional Planning Board Meetings. Sophie Moiese Room of the Missoula County Courthouse, 200 W. Broadway or online

Missoula City Council:

• Wednesday, December 3^rd and Wednesday, December 10^th: City Council pre-public hearing meetings. City Council Chambers, 140 W Pine Street, or online.
• Monday, December 15^th: City Council Public Hearing. City Council Chambers, 140 W Pine Street, or online.
• Monday, December 22^nd: City Council Final Consideration. City Council Chambers, 140 W Pine Street, or online.

📄 Adoption Materials:

The adoption materials include the adoption draft of the Unified Development Code (UDC) and the adoption draft of the Zoning Map. There are several ways to access this information:

Comments on the adoption materials may be submitted until the final vote by City Council on December 22nd. All comments received by staff will be provided to the Planning Board (prior to their vote) and City Council for their consideration.
