On Tuesday, the Planning Commission voted to recommend the ADOPTION of the new Unified Development Code (UDC) and Zoning Map, along with some recommended amendments! The next step in the adoption process is to bring these materials through the City Council public hearing process.
To allow for more consideration in the Planning Commission public hearing process, the schedule for the City Council meetings has shifted to the following updated schedule:
- Monday, December 15th, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.: City Council First Reading on Consent Agenda.
- Wednesday, December 17th, 2025 (Time TBD): City Council Land Use and Planning Committee Working Session.
- Wednesday, January 7th, 2026 (Time TBD): City Council Land Use and Planning Committee Pre-Public Hearing Meeting.
- Monday, January 12th, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.: City Council Public Hearing.
- Wednesday, January 14th, 2026 (Time TBD): City Council Land Use and Planning Committee Working Session.
- Monday, January 26th, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.: City Council Final Consideration.
📍 All meetings can be attended in person in the City Council Chambers at 140 W Pine Street or online.
