- Parks License Plate
Display your support for Parks and Recreation and help low-income kids enjoy swim lessons, day camps, youth sports, and more.
The City of Missoula is pleased to announce the release of the new Parks and Recreation license plate, featuring Missoula artist Monte Dolack's iconic print, "Zoo City", a panoramic view of all we Missoulians hold dear. Proceeds from the plate go directly to "Share The Fun" Youth Recreation Grants for low-income families. Purchase the plate at your County Treasurer's office for $20, plus a one-time registration fee of $20.
There is no special process to apply for or renew your Parks and Recreation plates. The county treasurer issues or renews the plates when you pay vehicle registration fees and license plate fees as listed above. Your registration does not have to be expiring to purchase the new plates.
"At the City of Missoula, we take fun seriously, because we know that kids who are actively engaged in fun recreational activities are healthier, happier citizens. We also know that most Missoulians take that fun seriously, too, and hope you'll help Parks and Recreation ensure that every child in Missoula can participate in all we have to offer." - Missoula Mayor Jordan Hess
