The term mausoleum is defined as a stately and magnificent tomb. Mausoleums in Missoula City Cemetery are free standing, custom designed structures for individual or multiple interments.

While our cemetery is home to a few historic mausoleums, we have a spacious section reserved for these modern custom built legacies.

Maximum 15' x 15'
Restrictions: Families work with a company to design their mausoleum.
  Requires submission of a detailed drawing, measurements, and foundation information. All requests require review and approval prior to initiating construction of a mausoleum.
  Requires 5' border on all sides of structure.
  Vault used inside the mausoleum must be sealable airtight.
  Installation is coordinated with a company licensed, bonded, and insured to work within the City of Missoula.
