Fort Missoula Regional Park is a 156-acre park and sports complex owned and operated by the City of Missoula and Missoula County. The park features event pavilions and picnic shelters, 10 multi-sport grass fields, a synthetic turf sports field, seven softball diamonds, full service-concessions, eight tennis courts and 22 pickleball courts. The park also includes an outdoor fitness center with nine workout stations, basketball courts, lawn volleyball, three playgrounds, historical interpretation, trails, restrooms and parking.
Phase 1 of the park (FMRP West) opened in 2017. Phase 2, which includes the eastern portion of the park, opened in 2018. The project was funded by the county-wide 2014 Parks and Trails Bond, which included $38 million for construction at FMRP.
FMRP Dog Park is now open. The closest parking lot is at the FMRP tennis courts, 3219 Fort Missoula Road. Dogs must be leashed in all other areas of FMRP.
