Residents invited to comment on the Red Fern Park draft Master Plan through February 19.
Missoula Parks and Recreation, the Canyon Creek Village Homeowners Association, and the Grant Creek Neighborhood Council invite residents to view and comment on the new master park plan for Red Fern Park through February 19, 2020. The park is located at 4800 Chesapeake Dr. in the Canyon Creek Village neighborhood.
The draft park design reflects the values and ideas shared by neighborhood residents at a park planning workshop last fall.
To comment on the draft plan, please review the Redfern Park Oct. 19 Design Workshop Summary and the draft Master Park Plan, then take the Public Comment Survey. Survey results will be incorporated into the final Master Park Plan.
A master park plan represents the community’s vision for the park and sets a course for future development. A comprehensive plan also allows the City to seek funding for park development via public and private partnerships, state and federal grants, developer impact fees, and the City budget.
