SROs
The MPD currently has three School Resource Officers (SROs) assigned to the public high schools in the City of Missoula in School District 1.
- Officer Christian Cameron - Big Sky High
- Officer Mark Monaco - Sentinel High
- Officer Randy Krastel - Hellgate High
School Safety Officers
Officer Rachel Hash - Hellgate Middle and Elementary Schools.
Officers Kali Matt and Robert Castro - middle schools and elementary schools within the district.
Summer Responsibilities
During the summer when school is not in session these six officers break out the mountain bikes and patrol the parks, trails, and downtown.
The six officers are supervised by the SRO Sergeant Collin Rose.
