Vacation Leave
Eligible employees begin accruing leave on day one of employment and may use vacation leave if an accrual balance is available; all leave must be approved by supervisor or department head.
Vacation leave is calculated as follows:
| Less than 10 years | 120 | 0.05769 x number of hours worked |
| 10 to less than 15 years | 144 | 0.06923 x number of hours worked |
| 15 to less than 20 years | 168 | 0.08076 x number of hours worked |
Sick Leave
Eligible employees begin accruing leave on day one of employment and may use earned sick leave upon receiving accrued time after the first issued paycheck.
Sick leave is calculated as follows:
- All eligible employees - 96 hours per year
- Accrual rate per pay period - 0.04615 x number of hours worked
Holidays
Eligible employees earn holiday pay for the following legal holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King Day
- President's Day
- Memorial Day

- Thanksgiving Day
